Quit heating after only 19 months; poor ergonomic

I bought this microwave oven right after Thanksgiving in 2016. It worked well for some time even though the user design made using it less than ideal (dark interior, dim light, unreadable touch panel - drk gray on black!!??, reminder beep and clock display shut off "features" can't be turned off) I was willing to live with the poor design but then it stopped heating on Aug 10, 2018, less than 2 yrs after purchase. I am VERY dissatisfied. Unacceptable performance. Seems like you are taking planned obsolescence too far.

Bought this microwave when we remodeled our kitchen. Since the day we set up noticed the clock will not stay lit, read somewhere is due to energy efficiency, I don't know, got used to it but definitely annoying. Had not had full year before it stopped heating. Would turn on but not heat anything. First time purchasing a LG brand appliance and definitely my last.

When opening the door, the turntable motor starts up, the fans get going and it sure loads up like the emitter is running. Liked the features; the reminder was a little annoying, but OK. bad rating due to failure mode.
