We had to replace this device when it continued to cook when the door was open! Didn’t seem too safe so we replaced it.

Very good counter-top micowave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the features you need & then some. Purchased this for its large size over 2 years ago and have not had any issues. My only complaint is that it seems louder than most microwaves. I don't know if this is because of its large size or not.

No longer works

Purchased 8/2016. Two weeks ago, microwave turned ON when I opened the door. I unplugged and plugged back in and now it lights up and just hums... no turning no heating, nothing!

Beware! Safety Hazard

Purchased microwave 2 1/2 years ago. Opened the oven door and microwave started without pressing any control buttons. I verified problem by having my spouse do the same. I’ve owned several different brand microwaves (some for over 10 years) and this has never happened before.

This is the only LG product I’m not happy with it only lasted 2 1/2 years and never worked right. But I’ve never had problems with anything before. I’m sorry I didn’t send it in when I first started having problems.

control panel hard to read at night !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How about having the control panel BACK LIGHTED so that we can see the various buttons clearly when the room is dark, like early morning and/or late at night.....
Otherwise this Microwave is simply a joy to work with........

I've had this model of microwave for two years and it stopped heating up today!!!!
It's discontinued and I bought it in an appliance set for Our new house.

Outstanding Appliance

I read all the reviews, complaints and all. I decided to purchase the LG anyway because it was 1/4 the price of my 2 previous high end failed microwaves. I learned my lesson with LG . I have owned it for 10 years which has performed flawlessly. It has 50 W more than previous $$$ appliances, the rounded corners and dark finish are very easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
