Works great so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our microwave for six months now and it works just great. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that the clock is not continuously displayed when the unit has been inactive for some amount of time.
Pros: Style/Design

Big, powerful microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have a microwave in my cooking range so I wanted a heavy duty, large microwave to sit on a counter top. This LG appliance was the best that I could get in the market and I am glad that I bought it. I needed something with much depth on the inside, powerful enough to defrost frozen foods quickly, and match aesthetically with my other appliances . I would highly recommend this product but I would also suggest that you know your needs first. Keep in mind that this microwave is bigger than normal size and more powerful (1200 W) than regular microwaves. So make sure that you have the space and circuit that can handle it.

Under cooks bacon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I've only cooked bacon. When I try to use the "bacon" setting it severely undercooks the bacon. I then set the timer and it ends up overcooking. When I follow the directions on the bacon package (1 minute per slice) it's still undercooked especially in the center of the slices. Also, if the cooking time worked correctly why not have the "number" of slices equal the number to press instead of making it one less?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I only have owned this a less than a week, the microwave function works fine. What is not fine is the clock display. The clock display goes off in a few minutes after use. It is a moronic design to have the clock display only for a few minutes after use then go to off. It is not worth setting the clock because I will never touch turn on the microwave or open the door to get the time. This is my first LG product and likely my last. I have no comment on long term quality.

Like it, except the power-saving mode blanks the clock after 5 minutes of inactivity.
