That stupid clock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfectly good microwave EXCEPT that the clock turns off after 5 minutes. Why even bother putting a clock feature on the device if you can't see it?
Pros: easy to use

Energy saver clock is a very bad idea

Oven has a lot of good features, but . . . I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT IF I HAD KNOW THE CLOCK WOULD TURN OFF AND GO TO STANDBY MODE AFTER 5 MIN. I looked at the power and the size . . . things that I thought were important. Didn't even cross my mind that the clock would not stay on. Surely you can come up with a way to deactivate this "feature", I get angry every time I look at the clock and it is dark.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We hate to see you are not satisfied with this microwave. The LCRT2010ST has been manufactured so the control panel/clock turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity as a power saving feature along with other appliances within the kitchen displaying the time on the control panel. We really appreciate your feedback and will forward this information to the proper team for review.

Great features and style.

I'm 66 yrs of age n feared I'd have trouble remembering how to operate it but it leads you through step by step on the buttons screen . It is so easy to operate. I have arthritis and the easy open door is very easy to press. Cooks great n evenly. It's the best microwave I've owned and I have owned quite a few! Lol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model 1 month ago for a new remodel. I ended up using it until the construction begins. It is powerful. I have only used to heat up coffee and food. I do like the EZ time adjuster, which allows you to add 30 sec up to 3 min.
It is larger than over the oven models and spacious inside. The clock does go off after several minutes to save electricity and that is the only set back. But that is not important. We purchased the graphite color which is why we purchased it for our remodel. We did have to purchase a wall cover kit with was about the same price as the oven. But if you look at remodeling to replace a microwave, it is worth it.
