Nice looking microwave - too bad it doesn't last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 years and little use, too bad it no longer heats. Don't waste your money on it. Customer support solution it to have it repaired which is more than the cost of the microwave.
Pros: easy to use

Stops heating

Great microwave until it stopped heating. And of course it happens right after the warranty. The phone call and labor to get it looked at costs more than the microwave in the first place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clock does not continuously display

I use the display to check the time. The display on this unit turns off after a given period. Further, the display quit working entirely after a year.

Countertop Microwave

We purchased this microwave to replace another one that had died. This has been one of our best purchases. We love this appliance. It has lots of power and takes a fraction of the time to do the job, as our old one. And the price was much less than some name brands which had less power and features. We would certainly use LG for other appliances!

I must have checked out info on every single countertop microwave in the US. Checked ratings, features, cost....
Went to several stores and checked in person. This microwave won hands down. I didn't realize how lame my old one was until I got the LG.

This is the 4th or 5th LG product I have purchased and like the others - it did not disappoint. Does it have EVERY feature I would want - no - but I didn't want to PAY for every feature I'd ideally want - so I chose this one.
It's a great size - and doesn't weigh a TON - it's easy to clean and pretty intuitive to operate so if you don't really like to consult the manual like me - it's great!
Pros: easy to use

My former microwave "gave up the ghost" as we use to say. I love this microwave! I was pleasantly surprised by the features it has, like "True Cook". The interior being round, allows more room to cook with as well as easier cleaning. It actually cooks evenly without hot or cold spots. I really like the ability to let the oven cook for me without always having to program everything, like baked potatoes. I simply put them in (after prepping them of course), hit potato and off it goes. They are done evenly and not over cooked! I am really happy with this microwave!
