Love the large easy to clean interior

I really liked our old microwave and was worried when it "died" about how I could replace it with one I liked. I could not find one with the features I liked and the size I needed. I refused to buy one that was less than perfect. After months of searching, I found this LG and it is just perfect. I love it!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, large easy to clean interior

Love the preset programs

Kids love the roll function which freshens buns and rolls. I like theauto defrost function for thawing meat without cooking.

Spacious, fast, stylish. Our only suggestion would be to offer a 3-sided trim kit and brackets for installation directly over the single wall oven. We had to replace a wall oven/microwave combo about 42" tall, so we had to build a shelf and carefully remove the bottom piece of the LG microwave trim kit. It looks great but was very tedious.

First one looked like it was dropped off truck,2nd one was so noisy you could hear it in the living room,third one works great after I put washers in the door so it would line up.

We purchased this microwave and discovered that the Reheat Function did not work properly. When reheating a dinner plate, following all the instructions in the User's Manual, the leftover meal was heated way beyond what would be expected with a simple reheat function. In fact, it dried the food out to the point that it tasted "burnt". With the previous microwave we owned, the reheat function heated the food through to an acceptable temperature and included a "countdown" cooking period at the end of the reheat. My recollection is that this previous microwave would cycle on and off during the reheat process and it was apparent that it sensed when the food was reheated and then began the countdown. Not this LG microwave! So, we returned it and got a second, making the assumption that it was a defect in the one we purchased only. Sorry to say that the second one, though better, also overheats food in the reheat function way beyond what is reasonable. The plate can't be touched after reheat. When reheating soup, the soup boils for several minutes before it turns off. It does NOT appear to cycle on and off and it cooks for several minutes before turning off. Not sure if we have another lemon but have to assume it is a design flaw in the LG product.. Do you have any suggestions for me LG? I suspect you will not!
