Please give me a clock that stays on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this microwave when our 27 year old Tappan died (yes 27). I have other LG appliances that I love and felt just couldn't go wrong with an LG. This thing has a lot of features I will never need or use, but I really want a clock that stays on. It's driving me crazy! That said, I am enjoying the power of this microwave. It's also nice to find another microwave that's bigger than a toaster. this so u or be a 5=star review if the clock stayed on.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality

EXPECT TO WORK LONGER THAN 14 MONTHS

Design Flaws

We bought this oven and made sure our newly renovated kitchen had a space that this would fit only to be disappointed with its operation. Every other microwave I have ever used had a countdown timer to show the cycle time and how much time was left. This is useful in so many different applications. But to my surprise no such countdown time shows.
In addition, not having the clock stay on is really annoying. How much power does it save by turning off?
These are things that you don’t realize until you buy it and throw away the box. Very frustrated and probably shopping for a new model soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with this microwave. It cooks quickly and is much easier to clean than the previous oven. Our only complaint is that there is no back lighting behind the control panel and we need to use a flashlight in the evening and the clock does not stay on all the time.

Very Disappointing

Purchased 1/23/2017. Only two of us at home, with occasional visitors (light to medium use). Will not heat anything up, while light goes on and turntable turns.

Microwave was purchased as a gift after 6 months it does not work, spoke with their customer service and was told they couldn’t do anything about it.. They’ve lost a customer!!
