Great Large Microwave

I like the microwave. It has a lot of features I have not used yet. Not sure why I bought one with all the features when I mostly use for heating water for tea and reheating food. I think I will use more of the features when i have time to figure them out. It is a little hard for me to see the choices without my glasses, but with them it is fine.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

During Christmas 2014, my previous microwave died. So I checked Consumer Reports which listed this model as one of their top 3 units. I've been rather happy with it., since I use a microwave on a daily basis. Fairly easy to use (I haven't tried anything too fancy yet), easy to clean, relatively quiet running. Haven't had any trouble with it yet, and don't expect to.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality, quiet

I use features I never used on another microwave

With all previous microwaves all I did was timed cook, and guessed at how much time to use.
Best feature: EZ-ON. Each press adds 30 seconds. Each press of MORE adds 10 seconds. Each press of LESS subtracts 10 seconds. These features are great for reheating a cup of coffee.
The potato button cooks a potato perfectly with no guesswork.
The soften button is great for softening a box of ice cream so it can be dished.
The REHEAT button works great for heating a plate of food.
The FRESH VEGETABLE and FROZEN VEGETABLE buttons also work great.
A minor complaint: I don't like the fact that until you remove an item from the oven the oven will periodically beep four times. That can get annoying. On the old oven it would only beep four times the first time the item was done. After that there would only be a single periodic beep which is less annoying.

Have owned many different microwaves over the years. Have not been totally satisfied with any of them. This LG microwave is by far superior. More features, accurate cook times for the presets, and curved interior makes for more room when using odd shaped containers. The exterior is also easy to clean. Very pleased with our purchase!

Perfect for me

It was time to replace my 10 year old unit.
This microwave is larger than I need for heating up frozen dinners but fits the cabinet opening perfectly.
It has more features than I use now but may use some in the future.
It looks great. easy to clean, quiet operation and I like the built in kitchen timer.
Pleased with the purchase.
