Nice looking but not reliable

Within 2 weeks after buying the unit it started to make noise when we were operating it. It might be coming from the motor that drives the rotating plate. We returned it to the store and since the store did not have a replacement we decided on a different brand. Also the door closing mechanism feels a bit weak.
Pros: Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best microwave we've ever had! The sensor that's used for the automatic cooking options is amazing & it actually works. The popcorn button pops your popcorn perfectly. It is quiet & very easy to operate. If you take the time to read the manual you will see all the great features this microwave oven has. The interior is gray which was a little weird but it's nice & curved at the corners making it so easy to clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Do not hesitate to purchase this microwave. All the great features make this a no-brainer. The "ez-on" button is a great convenience that allows a quick one button start of 30 seconds which can be pressed multiple times to add 30 more seconds at a time. I love the rounded interior. It makes it so easy to clean. The "soften" feature is great for those recipes that require room temperature ingredients and your butter or margarine is rock hard in the fridge. The spacious size allows me to place my largest cassarole dish inside, which rotates freely without bumping the sides. The only thing I would change about this product is the color. I would have preferred it in white.

Very easy to use, lots of built-in functions, cooks much faster than other brands at the same wattage.
Interior design makes cleaning easy - no corners to trap food.

The Best M/W oven I have owned.

After spending considerable time researching m/w ovens to replace the one we had that just quit working (not LG), I found the reviews for this model very positive. Now that I can report back that this oven has not disappointed at all. Its auto cook functions are amazing, cooking speed fast, cosmetically very appealing and well built. If you are looking for a full featured oven with a large cooking area this is a great choice. I could not be happier with my LG oven.

TURNTABLE FROZE, THAN ALL THE ELECTRONICS FAILED.
HAD TO RETURN. THIS HAPPENED ON THE 28TH DAY AFTER PURCHASE.
LIKE THE UNIT AFTER COMPARING TO OTHERS, JUST NOT THE END RESULT.

Sorry, I cannot give this product a good review. While I own other LG products which I am happy with and I was excited to get a microwave that matched the style (stainless), the first one I brought home had a burned plastic, chemical odor that would not go any. I exchanged that one for the same model which I had a inoperative number pad. I returned the second one for a refund and bought a different brand.

I have many LG products in my home and when I started shopping for a new microwave some weeks ago I knew that LG would certainly be on my comparison list. Of course when it got down to the basics there was really no comparison at all. LG is the best and it backs up what it says. Actually it really doesn't have to do much backing up. I have only had service done once on my washer and dryer and didn't really need it then. I love my microwave. It is easy to use and make my day just a little bit brighter. Thanks LG.
