easy clean LG microwave

Not impressed but it will do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is ok and does what it is supposed to do but there are several features I rather dislike. The display turns off after a few minutes which makes me wonder why they bothered to put a clock on it if it can't be seen all the time? Also, the display panel is way too dark to see without turning an overhead light on. Impossible to use this appliance in low or no light. Thirdly, the door release sticks and is very ineffective. Most of the time I have to pull on the door to get it to open even after depressing the door release. Fourth, the turntable is pretty noisy. No possibility of using this appliance without being heard in the next room! My suggestions would be to do away with the "energy saving" clock, make the display panel white with black letters, put a better door release spring in so the door will actually open when the button is pressed and maybe find a way to quiet down the turntable some.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with the microwave. Only two things bug me. The clock is not displayed unless you touch the screen. Arrrr! And when you cook, I think because of the steam; it holast lingering smells from previous cook. Everything else is 5 star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Large capacity and high power are obvious features, but perhaps better than both is the assortment of presets. The manual does a great job of explaining these features and so far they all do what they're supposed to do (e.g., one-button "Fresh Vegetables," "Automatic Defrost" for meat, poultry, or fish, and "Soften" for butter, ice cream, or cream cheese.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave has a few features which are really helpul. First, it's not the regular rectangular shape. It has more space in the back - very helpful. The "soften" and "melt" work perfectly. E-Z on is also great - 30 seconds each push.
