Extremely quiet

I bought this dishwasher as a replacement for one that was 8 years old. It is extremely quiet and does a good job washing. The interior layout is different from the other and seems a bit smaller. There are no optional upper "shelves" for cups and such. All-in-all I am pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I purchased this home in 1998 it came with the original appliances (G.E.). The home as built 30 + years ago. I used them an additional 16 years. I concluded the best value had to be G.E., therefore I decide to replace the range and dishwasher with G.E..

Really pleased with everything. Quiet, does a great job of cleaning. This machine dries everything completely. No water left on dishes. I had GE in the past and went to another brand. Now I'm back with GE and will stay.

This dishwasher has all the basic functions need for most consumers. The stainless steel tub makes it easy to keep clean and does not absorb odors like plastic sometimes can.
The one problem I encountered was that it required the water temperature to be a certain temperature before it would consistently open the detergent release gate. Sometimes it worked and sometime it didn’t until I raised the water temperature.
You can get around this by either increasing the temperature on your water heater or by using the “Water Temp Boost” button on the front panel (which is what I do).
