Trouble from the begining

This dishwasher didn't work right from the beginning 1. The door wouldn't close correctly 2. The bottom rack didn't roll out smoothly. Hit the opened door and had to be lifted to slide it out. 3. The dishes on the top rack didn't get clean at all. After 4 different service calls - replacing the inside door panel, the middle and top spray arms and the conduit on back that carries water to those arms those problems were solved and it now cleans pretty well.
However, at times the dishes aren't dry if using normal cycle and heated dry but is better if I also use the steam feature.
I don't like the silverware baskets positioned on the front of the racks (in door) as any utensils that are tilted toward the door prevents the door from closing all the way and needs to be repositioned. Also don't like using the covers on the baskets as some utensils or silverware don't fit in the slots and is awkward to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans better than any other I have owned

I have returned to GE products after a long absence. I'm glad I did. Compared to other dishwashers I have owned over the years, this GE dishwasher has features that "wowed" me such as high temperature boost, racks that slide easily, and the best steam cycle I have ever used to remove grease.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet but doesn't always clean

The dishwasher is quiet and simple to use. The problem is that the soap dispenser doesn't open most of the time so the dishes are washed with water and no soap. Yesterday I ran it and the soap door was closed when it finished so ran it again. Closed again. On the third time it worked. Sometimes it works on the 2nd try...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I spent a lot of time researching different dishwashers and came up with this one. It had to be ordered since they did not carry it. It was worth the wait!

Squeaky clean

I bought this dishwasher a couple months ago and it is so very nice not to have to wash by hand anymore for the most part. Just pots and pans. It is really quiet, goes with everything else in my kitchen because of the color choices. I am very pleased with it. It works great.
