Leaking Door.. BRAND NEW!!!

It works but it leaks water out of the bottom right hand side of the door. I cant see the quality in this dishwasher. Now I need to call GE to get it repaired, more time wasted..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE brand products have always been my favorite and I have used them for many years. Just like all of the others, this product is perfect! It has several options to choose from, depending on your wash load needs. It's easy to understand, has beautiful upper and lower trays with a wine glass feature, which I think is totally awesome, but it keeps all of my items safe while washing. The steam feature is heavenly, and the end result is each and every cycle is fantastic! No spots, streaks, it dry's the dishes, and even has a sanitation cycle. This is totally worth it's price and I would recommend this item and any GE appliance to anyone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

washes dishes ok, but ...

Bought this model 8 months ago, along with 5 other GE appliances during a kitchen remodel. Performs ok - washes dishes, etc., as you would expect.
However, design is poor; silverware/utensil baskets are hung on the front of the racks with short " hooks" , and easily fall off; also designed for forks, etc. to be placed "handle down" - tricky when unloading with "fork tines up"

Does not get dishes clean

This dishwasher invariably leaves some food residue on dishes and silverware in every load. The door is VERY difficult to close. It's only good feature is that it is relatively quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just used it for first time, and confusing to understand what the settings are. I had problems changing the settings and then had difficulties starting it. It ran what seemed like hours before shutting off. Since no booklet came with it, I had nothing to refer to immediately. Still have not found where the manuals are online. Rattling sounds inside dishwasher first use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
