This machine is the WORST! If it's not loaded JUST right it won't start and no matter what you do it won't start! Things do not get cleaned at all! Or dry! The amount of times I spent cussing at this thing. DO NOT GET THIS

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever used. we purchased it in June. The door would not latch probably when we first installed it. The dishwasher kept singing an annoying tune that meant the door was open even when it was not. We researched how to fix the problem, and GE's website said to run the dishwasher repeatedly until the seal was set. We thought that the problem was solved until the weather cooled down in October. Then, the door would not seal properly. We tried everything to fix it, but nothing worked. We purchased a different dishwasher the next day. Moreover, when the dishwasher did worked it was loud, took hours to complete a cycle, and the dishes rarely came clean. My pots, pans, and cookie sheets would not fit. This dishwasher was a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My last GE dishwasher ran for 29 years and never missed a beat. That is the reason I went with GE again. This Model is so quiet you cant tell it's running. The features are useful not just gimmicks. Cleans better than expected. More than satisfied so far.

Pretty Quiet

This dishwasher is very quiet and generally cleans well. We have noticed that the soap dispenser doesn't always discharge all of the soap during the cycle. Also, the utensil baskets keep getting off their holders when you pull out forks & spoons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very quiet operation. Cleans well with steam feature. But upper rack often doesn't dry well even with heat dry feature on.

THE TOP RACK DOES HOLD MY MUGS AND TALLER GLASSES THE PICTURE THAT COMES WITH MACHINE SHOWS VERY SMALL DISHES AND CUPS MY GRANDMOTHER HAD NOT TODAY'S NOT TODAY'S DISHES NO ROOM AND DOES NOT CLEAN LIKE OTHER D.W. ALSO SILVER WARE RACK HOLDS THE WATER ON RACK TO LONG THIS IS VERY POOR DESIGN AND HAS A LOT OF SETBACK I WOULD NOT WANT THIS I FELL THIS IS GE RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE MAKE GOOD ON THIS.

I bought my appliance July 2015 and I love the way it looks. When the washer is on it is very quiet and washes well.
