Great Dishwasher

This was an upgrade from my previous GE dishwasher. I like that GE improved the size of the bottom rack. I can now put a lot more items than my last model. This dishwasher is super quiet and gets that dishes sparkling clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

a good dishwasher, but has some querks

I bought this 2 years ago and use it daily. It is quiet and generally washes well. I have had occasionally issues with utensils not getting thoroughly washed, even though dishes are hand-rinsed before going through a wash cycle. It has problems draining twice. It was easy to clean the filters and find the clog the first time, but after trouble shooting the second time the dishwasher didn't drain, I have been unable to find any blockage or clog (and it still won't drain). I have run this dishwasher more than 700 times and it is on the mid-range price, so keeping that in perspective, I would recommend this dishwasher. But I would get the extended warranty.

Doesn't clean well

The soap dispenser often stays shut, so I have to run the load twice. Sometimes it must open late, during the drying cycle, because the powdered soap will be a hard block. The dishes are wet, even after "drying". I could live with that if at least they were consistently clean, but no luck there either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Silverware racks drive me crazy!

I bought this dishwasher because I have all GE appliances and I like the stainless interior. I thought I wouldn't mind the silverware racks but they are horrible.

This dishwasher is too hard to load properly. I have to get the manual that I printed off the website to see how to load, especially the silverware. And it also takes forever to go through the cycle. Very different from my previous dishwasher.

Great dishwasher

I recently bought this machine for my condo, and have had it for about 2 months now. I tried to go mid-range price, quiet, stainless inside and I could get it delivered and installed quickly. This one fit the bill. It's nice looking, super quiet, and very efficient. I couldn't be happier and have already recommended it to friends who are in the market for a new dishwasher.

GE dishwasher with stainless steel interior

Upper rack design not very conducive to a variety of different items. Lids for Tupperware either to big or too small for rack design therefore they remain essentially loose. Lower utensil rack blocks dispersal of cleaning agent so only the upper utensil rack is efficient for cleaning. There needs to be a way to speed up the process when washing. One cycle takes forever, often time much quicker just to hand wash. Unconventional item, (glass Tupperware containers) must lay so that they block water from lower to upper rack. Position them in another way and they end up being full of water at conclusion of the wash/dry cycle. No instructions as to properly load the machine. Expensive product but little convenient output for the money spent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Real nice machine except do not like the drying.....dishes come out all wet even with the heated dry button pressed.
