Disappointing performance

My new dish washwer looks great! However I need to rinse all my dishes before loading, or they do not come out clean, and still the glasses on the upper rack come out gritty. The front door literally falls to the open position. The latch is a bit touchy and does not latch well. It is also a little awkward to load and holds way less than the dishwasher it is replacing. I think that in this age of technology GE can do better than that! It is not the two steps up from my old dish washer that it claimed to be!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchase was made to replace a GE dishwasher that had expired. Runs super quite but cycle time is long. Ensure that you purchase the connector needed for the water line because it is not included.

The thing has never worked right. From the very beginning it won't latch properly. GE has been out 5 times to "fix" it. Still not fixed. It's very hard to schedule repairs since it's usually an all day window.

Super Quiet and Clean Look

In the process of replacing all my appliances -we thought we had a previous quiet dishwasher but this one is super quiet. Having run 4 loads already we're totally pleased with the operation and the features. Dishes come out sparkling!

Very quiet! Extra room!

We have had this machine for about 3 weeks and run 2-3 loads a week. It is extremely quiet and well designed. The ball-bearing rollers are sturdier than plastic wheels and will not break down due to heat. The top rack is easily adjustable with one hand. The top rack is also lower on one side to accommodate taller items. The extra distance from the bottom rack to the top is helpful. This machine will easily hold cookie sheets and large cutting boards.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pump broke just out of warranty. Too much money to fix. Now I need to spend more money to buy a new dishwasher.

We had a seal leak? or something within the first 6 months. Unable to figure out problem as it only happens occasionally.
