This dishwasher is so quiet I have to double check that I pressed the Start button! It washes and dries dishes really well.

Very Quiet!

I had an older competing model that had leaked one time too many. I decided to splurge on a GE unit because it was the only models I could find with a soft food disposer. The new drying method takes a bit of getting used too, but no more melting plastic dishes etc! The included manual left a little bit to be desired because it described lesser features that had been replaced with premium features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

top-notch dishwasher

I am so pleased with this dishwasher. First of all, it is so quiet that I can hardly hear it working even if I'm standing beside it. It uses much less water and detergent that my old one. But my favorite feature is the bottle washer. I no longer buy cases of bottled water because this dishwasher cleans tall water bottles perfectly. Also tall coffee cups and small vases. The configuration of the tines can be changed many ways, so everything fits. It holds a huge amount of dishes, so I don't have to run it very often. The dishes are very clean when it is done - actually shiny. I tell everyone about this product and have convinced 2 people to buy it. I chose slate because I have a Colonial home and I didn't want a shiny finish. This color is beautiful and classy.

Its is amazing how quiet this dishwasher you literally can barely hear it running at all... I wondered if it was actually even working, but knew it was when i heard the water running down the drain (didn't hear the pump just the water).. =) This is a godsend as I have a great room/open layout for my kitchen and living room. Now i can watch TV or listen to music without having to turn it up to cover the dishwasher noise! The excellent features including bottle wash are also extremely helpful and dishes come out spotlessly clean. So happy I bought this GE Profile dishwasher... highly recommend it to anyone!

Not as large as the older GE profile model i replaced. Cleans well
Top shelf does not clean as well ( sometimes )
Does not dry dishes completely as my previous one, some water droplets remain
I guess that is due to increased energy efficiency
