As others have said, this dishwasher does not actually wash dishes. Almost everything that goes in either has to be rewashed. Once, just for "fun" I didn't fully rinse something before putting it in the dishwasher. I ran the wash cycle, which is 128 minutes. One would think over 2 hours of washing would clean something, but it didn't. I put the same dishes through for 3 cycles, 6 hours of washing, and yet, they were still dirty. Even if the dishwasher really did wash dishes, the racks are useless. There is no good way to load this dishwasher. And the bottom rack always slides all the way out, off the tracks (really there are no tracks, it just rolls on the door), and nearly onto the floor.Until I can find a better dishwasher we are stuck washing everything by hand. I want to donate this dishwasher to Mythbusters and watch them blow it up when I get a new one. At least then it would be good for something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Improved Features in New Model

This is the third dishwasher. 1st one had a major dent in back before going in the box so we didn't see it until plumber was here to install, 2nd one was installed and worked 5 x. Loved it, quiet, cleaned, but quit. Problems with electronic panel. After paying plumber for 2nd install, I have used about 6 x and love it. All people involved with purchase, phone conversations, computer chat, repair man......all were more than willing to help us get a dishwasher that worked. Thanks

Just installed and run first load through. Looks great. Very quiet. Cleaned great. Learning curve to programming from older, but so far, so good.

I have opened this dishwasher twice in 2 months to load its hike it's actually running! This is how quiet it is. Only cons: the washes take a really long time.
