needed new dishwasher and went with another GE as my old one lasted a long time . this one is no where as good as my old one it never dries any of the dishes as the is no heating element in it .the sales person said it has hot air to dry the dishes ,plus a full cycle takes over two and a half hours.my old one was done in half that time and all the dishes came out dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this dishwasher three months ago after thoroughly researching the various manufacturers. This product came highly recommended. It does an outstanding job of cleaning the dishes, especially compared to our previous dishwasher. The many extra features greatly enhance the utility of this product.

Won't Dry Dishes

Bought this dishwasher 6 months ago to replace an aging appliance. It looks great and is a higher grade than our previous model, also a GE. It's super quiet, is stainless steel inside and out. It has multiple cycles, but with all the choices, it won't dry the dishes.
To be honest, the china usually is dry, but if you have any plastic, it's wet. We tried rinse aids, different cycles, up to 2 hours and 20 minutes and it's still wet.

This dishwasher is great - so quiet you forget it's running! There are lots of options for cycles and it holds a lot more dishes than my previous dishwasher. I'm very happy with it.
