Cool Tech - Simple Use
on August 23, 2021
Posted by: Mariam202111

I am writing this review on behalf of my Grandma. This is a very simple to use dish washer, for my 86 years old grandma is very convenient. For me who visit her every year, this is very relievable and make us feel she won't ever have a problem selecting the multiple options because the display is very clear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Dishwasher

Like this dishwasher, but it takes forever to clean dishes on the Normal Cycle with Heat Boost. Its a pre-Haier built unit. Mine was made by GE before the buyout.

Bad door latch
on December 19, 2022
Posted by: Stew56
from Riverview Fl.
Dishwasher door latch has not worked properly since the time it was installed. Always had to lift the door and close and then a few minutes later it would signal “door open”. When washing dishes on anything but “heavy mode” they do not come out clean. Only good feature was that it was quite.

Inadequate water heater: inlet water MUST be 120
on February 12, 2023

Washing dishes requires hot water. This model has very weak water heating and requires HOT water at inlet. If your hot water line takes some time to warm up then skip this model.

We recommend resetting your dishwasher by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We have also provided some tips to avoid poor drying in your dishwasher at the link here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451&_ga=2.188345376.904002685.1729521204-507723860.17079367

Wiring problem caused an electrical fire. Thankfully I caught it early because of the smell so no one was harmed and no damage was done beyond the dishwasher.
