for price, expected better...

Had hard time getting dishes washed or dried right at first. Figured out had to turn heated dry on each time i went to new cycle. I do have to keep them in there a little while after to air dry a little more or else still wet. Every so often i open door and a good amount of soap is dripped on the door from the soap dispenser. Not sure if it cleans the dishes well enough when this happens. Also in order to get clean dishes, have to be scrubbed pretty good before hand.
I do like the moveable top rack, the bottome rack spokes are adjustable which is nice, and the bottle wash is great...when I remember to check when its on. The slate finish is awesome, just like the rest of our slate appliances bec it doesnt show finger prints. It is nice that it has the front screen on top letting you know if its washing, drying, or clean. Its pretty quiet too which is nice! Id recommend ge, but wouldnt tell them without letting them know these things. Could probably go with lower model without bottle washers, just it helps with toddlers or husbands who leave cups dirty and even after scrubbing still a little residue and put in washer.

This was installed in a new construction home. Great Appearance, does the job well. Would have liked a bigger model, but satisfied with this product

Just bought this GE Profile to replace the 20 yr old Whirlpool that came with our house and finally bit the dust. The GE dishwasher is so quiet in comparison, I wasn't sure that it was actually running! Also LOVE the indicator of when the dishes are CLEAN, and the clear, easy to understand controls. Looks nice and works well. Seems like there is also more room in both the top and the bottom for large trays and odd shaped items. The real test will be cleaning up after Thanksgiving today!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great. Love the features, but after running water remains in the washer. I leave door open to air dry.

A sanitizer not a dishwasher

In order to get clean dishes, you must first hand wash them. This dishwasher is a sanitizer, not a dishwasher.

Had to replace racks at 7 yrs. Rusted and prongs broke off.
Screws rusted along top of door, inside.
Does not clean well enough, unless you put it on pot scrubber.
