I purchased this appliance when we recently remodeled our kitchen and have been very satisfied with it's performance. The styling is very nice and it is very quiet when operating. I would definitely purchase GE appliances again.

Cleans well but door has problems staying shut

Cleans as expected, and there are plenty of features that make it easy to live with, however the locking device is not srong enough to properly lock the door. The door lock design is poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really Great Dishwasher

This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. If you aren't leaning on the counter above it, it is difficult to tell it is even running. The dishes come out clean and without the "burned" in mess that my last one would have. All the silverware is clean and glasses as well.

My new dishwasher gets the dishes sparkling clean, and then plays a little tune when it's done. It's adorable and efficient at the same time. I'm still figuring out the optimal dish loading pattern, though.
