We've had the dishwasher for a couple weeks and it's working flawlessly. Cleans the dirtiest dishes excellently and works great on pots and pans. You can't even hear when it's running. We like the controls on the dishwasher and we're extremely satisfied.

The quietest dishwasher I've ever experienced!

Not only is it super quiet, it cleans... yes! Amazingly, it actually does a superb job of cleaning even with hard water and the less than great detergents that are currently available. I put this unit into our remodeled condo and loved it from the first wash. No longer having a water softener, I was left with less than desirable results from the old unit even though it was a major brand. I did my research, and this GE has proved it correct. By the way, if anyone is wondering about top controls vs front controls, go with the top. Didn't think it was that big a deal but now that we have it, we love it.

Better dishwasher than I had before. Cleans well and quietly. I had a "fancier" brand and it did a lousy job. I had such good service with my first appliance I went with all GE profile appliances in my new house. Now we are "flipping" another house and will only buy GE from now on. Good product, great company for customer service. This is worth a lot to me!

We have owned GE products for over 30 years. Most have been excellent.
This machine was damaged at the factory but shipped anyway. Second delivered machine appeared ok but began to have a water leak after second wash and machine would shut itself down. Repair was called in and handled by a very competent techician. Fault was another assembly issue at the factory. Tech modified the cause and machine is working.
I am reserving my opinion until machine is used further.
Note that we have older version of same machine in a vacation home and have had no issue.

Beyond Quiet

This dishwasher came with our new home that has an open concept kitchen. We were very concerned about noise since the kitchen and living room are one big room. No worries!! This dishwasher is SO quiet that we forget that we have turned it on.
