They don't have heaters

We had a problem with the first one. GE replaced it after two service calls.

Great Replacement For 10 Year Old GE Profile

Replaced a ten year old GE Profile unit that NEVER cleaned well. The PDT750SSFSS model cleans very well and is almost completely silent. The only sound that you hear is the soft gurgle of the wash water when it is discharged into the kitchen drain. However, the wash times are much longer than those of older machines due to current energy conservation regulations.

Works better than my old one. Quiet, very little water usage, adjustable shelves make it easy to wash anything.

I have had a lot of dishwashers in my life and this is the first one that will not dry plastic. The serviceman who came said it was a result of the energy features. Seems rather disappointing that stuff made years ago never gave any problems with this. I bought this as part of a set of Slate appliances and I upgraded to the better model. Even the plastic parts of the washer stay wet after the power dry cycle is complete.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
