The rinse aid compartment is too small. The rinse aid indicator comes on after about 3 washes. The rinse aid compartment does not hold very much product and much of the product spills out during the filling process as the compartment is so small. I have owned 2 GE profile dishwashers in the past and this one is definitely is not the quality that I have owned in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher is one of the quietest that we have ever owned. I am glad that when it is in operation there is a light indicating that it is washing.

Bought this dish washer about 3 weeks ago and so far, have been very pleased! The machine is exceptionally quiet, and with recommended detergent and rinse aid, has been getting dishes spotless. There's plenty of different cycles to chose from to meet your requirements, and the half load cycle is pretty neat for smaller families so that you're not waiting for days to build up a full load of dishes. The adjustable tines are fantastic so that you can build your own system to load dishes, and the bottle wash jets have come in very handy. Also, very pleased with the sidewall jets that focus on the silverware section of the washer. All in all, we couldn't be happier with our selection of this GE dishwasher. I can't speak for reliability as we haven't had the machine long enough, but if reliability matches performance, then we have found a winner!

Beautiful and so quiet!

We did some research before we bought this dishwasher and we couldn't be happier with our decision. I wanted to get one that was quiet and also cleans dishes well. It definitely delivers on both points. The only negative is now I want to replace all my other appliances to match my pretty dishwasher!
