Mistake

Bought this 4 months ago and it has broken down 3 times. We have been washing our dishes by hand this week !

Quiet Washer

My wife loves how quiet this dishwasher is. Our old dishwasher would have to be turned off when we watched TV or even had a conversation in the kitchen. This one is so quiet that when I first had it on I had to make sure it was running. Getting used to all the features. So far so good.

Roomy inside

I have had this product about a month. The inside is roomy and adjustable. I do think the tines are a bit flimsier that my older GE Profile dishwasher. It is very quiet and thoroughly cleans and dries the dishes

We've had lots of issues with the door not staying closed. Come home and find it paused part way though a cycle because the door is not closed tight. I don't understand why they didn't use a latch instead of a wimpy detent to keep the door shut. I've made sure it's installed level and square and have adjusted it a few times, which has only slightly helped. Now after almost 2 years the bottom of the door is rusting out, apparently from water damage within the door. Warranty only covers 1 year, so I'm stuck paying to repair a door I hate in the first place. Would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

Dishes are still wet

This dishwasher does not contain a heating element, although in the description it says it does.

Took a while to love

Our 7 yr old GE profile dw started having issues. Bought 2016 version of the same. At first it didn't seem to dry at all- even thought I enabled drying feature. Called appliance repair guy and he recommended product called Lemi-shine. He said it removes some sort of manufacturers coating on the stainless interior that prevents the dw from drying completely. After I used that the dw dries perfectly. Very quiet and don't know it's running. Very satisfied

We bought this because it had great review plus it’s exterior was very pretty but after 2 years, we are disappointed.
The good: We still love the exterior and it is silent when washing
The bad: the Power Dry setting doesn’t dry the dishes very well at all + the only way to get the dishes clean is to use the Heavy setting. The normal and below don’t even get all the soap out of the bin, and we use the Cascade that is recommended on the machine. You definitely have to scrub the dishes thoroughly before putting them in there, even on heavy setting.
Maybe I just have too high of expectations?
