nice microwave, lousy control panel

I bought this yesterday and it works great. The problem is the control panel is dark and hard to see. You need a light nearby.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great basic microwave!

We have used a very similar predecessor model with great satisfaction for 10 years or so and wanted as close as we could get to the same capacity and size GE model. This one is the same capacity but slightly smaller. My wife is happy that although the button layout is slightly different, they are clearly labeled and functionally the same. There is not much to say except that everything works really well. Just like the older one, the popcorn button does a perfect job on a bag of microwave popcorn. The auto defrost works quite well, cycling up and down to gently thaw without cooking the food. For anyone needing a good-looking basic microwave this one is hard to beat.

works great,very quiet operation,like the feature that lights up end ,as a reminder that u just microwaved something. also has an interior light which the new ones of other brands don't have. very happy with this product.
