Had an older GE model of this microwave which was a much more quality product, it works ok but it is noticeable different in quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for a kitchen remodel to replace my 16 year old GE m/w. Glad I did. I had installed under cabinet in island and so far so good after 5 months of use. I was leaning towards a Samsung or LG model, but decided against it since my old one was still working as new. (Sold it). This one has great power. A little stronger than my old one, so be careful when cooking on high power. Dishes will be HOT. I wish it had a backlit keypad, but no big deal. Matches the rest of my stainless appliances. They are Samsung and LG. I would definitely buy this again.

I had looked for just the counter-top microwave and located the model at Pittsburgh PA, Big Box Store It's easy to use and for the price has a high-end look in the stainless-steele

Clean, neat and not to complicated

I bought this a week or so ago, easy to install and get up and running; easy operation instructions (do not have to be a rocket scientist), clean lines easy to clean (inside and out) with plenty of power to cook food quickly; popcorn in 2 minutes plus. Great microwave!! Thanks GE

Easy to use display

This item has 1150 watts and heats things quickly. The display is simple and easy to use and the manual covers all the functions well. However, when cooking or heating items for longer periods, it vibrates enough to become quite loud and this is an annoyance.

It is possible the microwave may not be level on your countertop. Please ensure the surface it is sitting on is level. Your microwave should also have four “feet” or “legs” on the bottom to keep it stable. If one of them is missing or damaged, this may be causing the excessive sound.
If service is needed, we recommend taking advantage of your provided one year warranty and scheduling a service appointment with an authorized GE Appliance technician who can accurately diagnose and repair your appliance.
