Bought this less than a year ago. BIG MISTAKE. It heats foods so unevenly that is frustrating. If you don't stir the food intermittently, you will have some of the food cold, some hot, some warn. I've owned many microwaves, this one is unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Good Microwave

I needed a microwave for a long time. Did a bunch of research and found this one. I've been using it for a year and I've had no issues with it. I recommend a microwave cart for this one, it's big. It perform great.

Bought this to replace different model GE microwave that was apparently a lemon. So far it has performed as expected- good features such as reheat/ beverage etc.

Very convenient features, looks great

We decided to replace our older, working microwave, when we purchased other new appliances. We like the easy convenience of this one, and large numbers that show up clearly. It works well and looks great in the kitchen. Only wish it had a fingerprint-proof finish, but it's a small matter to clean it up.
