Dependable, but some issues

What I do like is that this oven is fairly powerful and reheats food quickly. I wish it were not quite so noisy, and I'm not pleased with the fact that it keeps running after the time is up, but I've been adjusting to it rather well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Microwave Oven!

I have had this countertop microwave for 6 months now & LOVE it!! I especially use the "Beverage" button to reheat coffee & find it very handy, multiple times each day. I like the "Reheat" button for single plate servings of leftovers. I use the "Vegetable" cbutton regularly as well as the Potato cycle. I often use "Add 30 Sec" for a dish that needs just a smidgen more heat.

Bought this because our other microwave stopped working. It has a lot of features but is simple to use. Some microwaves are way to complicated.

Oven is a solid, but not stellar performer

Documentation on features and use was thin and unusable. Features work but take considerable trail and error to figure out how to work.

A good, reliable microwave

My old microwave was almost 15 years old. It was a Kenmore. I first bought another Kenmore but it wouldn't turn when I put a bowl with water and chicken in it. I then found that GE tests each of their microwaves to make sure that they successfully rotate 15 pounds. I could not find any others that do this. This GE microwave easily rotates my chicken and water. My only issue is that for about 5 seconds, when it first starts, it makes a loud vibrating noise. I cooked potatoes in it and was happy to find that they cooked better than in my old one.

We have had this about a month and really like it. Easy to use. Be sure to print out the instructions, then you don't have to guess. I haven't had to adjust cooking times with this product.

Replaced a 10 year old JES1656 with a new one

My 10 year old JES1656 when the magnetron died and I replaced it with another one of the same exact model.
