Absolutely superb!

Firstly, the display is amazing. The colors are vibrant. Fonts are crisp, and I have had no issues with the yellow.
Secondly, it is super fast. Applications install quickly and load up instantly.
Thirdly, it is ultra portable. I use laptop mode and stand mode. One for work and the other for watching movies, browsing social media apps.
Finally Windows 8.1 is much improved. You can do all your work with traditional applications and have your fun with the new tablet apps.
I have had no wi-fi issues. Battery life could be better.
Pros: Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Processor, Software compatibility, Memory, Video card, Wireless card, Keyboard/peripherals, Screen size, Build Quality, Storage, Display resolution, Display performance
Cons: Battery, Included Software

display is blessing and curse
on November 25, 2013

I nearly returned the Yoga Pro 2, until I decided to set the display resolution at 1600x900. The native resolution of 3200x1800 is unbearable in most programs, even with fonts set to max. A 13" display should NOT have resolution >1080p, so Lenovo hamstrung an otherwise great laptop with a too-high display resolution.
Using 1600x900 on the laptop along with 2560x1440 on my 27" Acer T272HUL "touch" display leads to fonts and windows that are comparable in size on both. The Yoga Pro 2 can drive the 27" Acer T272HUL at its native resolution using the micro-HDMI output. You will also need a USB 3.0 cable to take advantage of touch features. However you cannot drive the 27" monitor at full-resolution using a USB 3.0 dock, which is a disappointment.
Pros: Weight, Build Quality, Storage
Cons: Display resolution, lack of docking station

Almost Perfect
on November 26, 2013

Only two things missing from this convertible that would make it perfect.
1. Discreet graphics to push that awesome high res screen.
2. 16x9 is awful for computing. 16x10 would be much much better.
Nothing else to complain about. This is the only convertible right now that offers an i7 processor and their configuration on all other parts is perfect. If they'd improve the screen to be a little better on horsepower and aspect ratio, I'd buy these and these only for my business. Right now I only buy them for those that need them.
Pros: Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Processor, Durability, Memory, Keyboard/peripherals, Build Quality, Storage, Display resolution
Cons: Video card, Screen size, Display performance

Great laptop but ..
on November 26, 2013

This PC has all the features I've been waiting to arrive (like a digitized pen but ...). Got it and finally figured out why I keep sending my cursor up when typing caps of letters on the left of keys ...
wish both shift keys were the same size like with most keyboards. The smaller one is right next to the arrow keys and all four are about the same size - small; half the size of the right shift key on left side.
Minor but annoying thing. Still a great laptop.
Cons: Keyboard/peripherals

Very impressed and satisified!

Bought the Yoga 2 Pro after retiring a 15" Dell Inspiron that was on its last lap.
Just to reiterate what others may have said:
- no wifi issues/no issues with the yellow display
- machine is so fast, particularly when booting up or coming out of sleep mode
- very light
- battery is OK (~6 hours between full charges)
- display is awesome!
- mousepad's swipe shortcuts take some getting used to
- keyboard size is perfect and I had no trouble readjusting
- I didn't care too much for some of the apps that came preloaded because I don't use Microsoft's platform but really easy to delete those
Very pleased with my purchase and think it's a great investment.
Pros: Weight, Processor, Build Quality, Display resolution, Display performance
Cons: Included Software

Underpowered...
on December 2, 2013
Posted by: WiredDan
In my short experience with the Yoga 2 Pro I found it to be rather underpowered (CPU + GPU) for its high density screen. Specifically when it comes to playback of HD+ content.
Never mind 4K, a typical run of the mill YouTube HD video will throw this machine into 95% CPU utilization followed by a rapid increase in operating temperature and, if it's running off of a battery, you'll be lucky to get more that half of its advertised 6-hour runtime. How could they couple this ultra high density screen with a mediocre graphics card is beyond me.
Intel HD4400 under current specifications is simply incapable of effective rendering of that many pixels per frame. This could'v been an ideal laptop had they bundled it with an Intel Iris HD5100 GPU but that's not even available in the top tier i7 models
Pros: Weight, Memory, Keyboard/peripherals, Screen size, Build Quality, Storage, Display resolution
Cons: Wireless card, Battery, Processor, Display performance, gpu, heat distribution
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great computer, love it!
on December 4, 2013

I have used a Yoga 13 since Feb. 2013, loved it, and bought the Yoga 2 Pro for my company computer to replace an aging Thinkpad. Very fast, great battery life.
Gripes: Yellows on screen look pukey green. Screen resolution is too high for some programs, menus too small. Like the Yoga 13, the keyboard layout is annoying, with the small right Shift key and Backspace key, and the strange layout on the right side.
New 4th gen i7 runs cooler with less fan noise than Yoga 13.
I love not having to carry a separate tablet for flights, and I love getting envious questions from other passengers!
Pros: Battery, Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Warranty, Processor, Software compatibility, Memory, Bluetooth, Wireless card, Screen size, Build Quality, Storage, Display resolution, Display performance, it's a tablet too!
Cons: Keyboard/peripherals, Included Software, screen color inaccuracy, keyboard layout, sd card protrudes from slot, no second hard drive slot.
