Can enjoy cooking again with this great range. Great features. I really love the different type cooking stations...the fast boil feature is my favorite.

Frigidaire range

This range is very nice looking, efficient cooking but has drawbacks. The WORST is that if you lean against the front of the stove it can slightly turn on the burner (especially the left as you are facing it) and IT CREATES A GAS LEAK!!! Obviously this is a BIG problem. the surfaces are very work intensive, very hard to keep shiney, especially all the black surfaces. The grates above the burners are heavy and also hard to keep clean, the surfaces are very porous and just hard to keep clean. Most all other brands of ranges looked about the same. Again aside from being very work intensive to keep clean the potential for gas leaking is the very WORST.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In regards to your surface control knobs, please check your surface control settings; remember the electronic igniter will continue to spark if the control knob is left in the LITE position. Love the look, functionality and style of this stove. Only drawbacks are the black top which shows all dirt and hair so it requires many wipe downs throughout the week and the button panel is a little cheap feeling.
I would recommend this to a friend!
