Great Features

We replaced our old Frigidaire Electric Range that we had for 15 years with this one. I love everything about this one. It is smudge-proof so you don't have to keep wiping off smudges every time you touch it. We've only used the oven about 4 times. Cooking time is much shorter. Turn on the oven light and you can check your food without opening the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like everything about my new Frigidaire stove except one Huge thing.....whoever thought it should have a shinny Black Top wasn't very smart.....it's something you have to clean almost every time you use the stove!!!! The Black shows every speck of grease or anything else you get on it!!!!!!! I'm tired of cleaning it already and I've only had it a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your range experience, Root. I recommend cleaning your cooktop after each use with cooktop cleaning crème. Use a paper towel or a 3M Scotch-Brite Blue Multi-Purpose No Scratch Scrub Sponge to clean the entire cooktop surface. Make sure not to leave any residue. I hope this helps! Courtney

Gosh! MGM1, clean your smudge proof stainless steel only with warm soapy water, using a clean sponge or cloth. Rinse with clean water, and dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use stainless steel cleaners or any other types of cleaners containing any abrasive, chlorides, chlorines or ammonia. It is recommended to use mild dish soap and water or a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar. The ceramic top needs to be cleaned in a certain way, page 24 of your Owner’s Manual goes over the instructions in depth. On Frigidaire.com we have several choices for cleaning your range. I highly recommend our Cerama Bryte complete cooktop cleaning kit (number ACC200005). The kit contains 28oz of the cooktop crème cleaner, super easy cooktop touchup wipes, it also comes with a scraper for cooked on messes, and a microfiber pad to shine it up. It is a great value for keeping the ceramic top beautiful! You can try leaving the conditioning crème on for longer (10-15 minutes), for tough marks. The special cooktop cleaning cream leaves a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions. After cooktop has cooled, it should immediately be cleaned to prevent any marks from becoming permanent. I hope this helped! Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Not easy to care for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came with the Newhouse and just not as easy to care for as I thought. The flat top needs constant polishing, scratches easy, and the bottom dr a wee is cheaply made, very frail metal.

Like everything but the stove top

Totally dislike the stove top. Not suppose to clean any of it until the red light goes off. Anything that spills or splatters has to stay there until completely cools. Most of the time it is very motley even using their cleaner. You have to use a straight edge razor blade to scrape the top to get burned stuff off. A paper towel does help at the end of cleaning. I would not have bought it if I had known this!
