Came from a 4 year iphone user to this, it is incredible and productivity is unmatched. I use this phone for both personal life and business and it never gets a rest. The battery is outstanding and last a very long time given what it is made to do i get about 10-12 hours of usage out of my phone a day before a charge and to me that is unheard of. Size is overwhelming at first but you quickly settle into the phone and forget all about it til you hold another phone that seems to be made for kebbler elf's. In all seriousness this phone will not disappoint. The only drawback i can find in this phone is that the camera glass sits flush to the case back and only after about a week and a half worth of use im already seeing some good surface scratching on the lens, although it is not affecting picture quality i would recommend a back case right away.
This is the best smartphone I've ever owned, and I've only had it for 2 days!
The HD 5.3in screen is the best you'll find on any product available right now. A lot of people say that it's too big but I have average sized hands and I can still text with the Note in just one hand. Use this phone for a day and you will never go back to the iphone or any other smaller phones for that matter.
The UI is very fast and responsive with no lag whatsoever. The S-pen will definitely be a huge draw for artists and other creative individuals. The 2500mah battery will easily last the entire day for heavy users.
I don't submit reviews,, but thought I should after using the Galaxy Note for over three weeks. I bought the international version (no 4G) before the AT&T version came out. So internet on mine is slower than the current version. Nevertheless: this is an AMAZING idea. I do NOT like carrying more than one platform (tablet or netbook + cell phone) but even my Samsung S-II Skyrocket screen is pretty small when trying to read or look up something on the net. The Note makes it MUCH, MUCH better!! Possibly it could have been SLIGHTLY larger, but not much. All of a sudden, watching video on my "cell phone" is a viable concept. And I don't have to squint to see it. Overall, VERY WELL DONE, INDEED!! Blows the iPhone all to heck.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, screen is huge!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was amazed by the beauty and elegance of the Samsung Galaxy Note. Not only did it match my expectations, it surpassed it as well. I am going through some changes with my eyesight and I can see the Samsung Galaxy Note with or without my glasses. It has been a joy to use. I highly recommend it.
For over 15 years I've been waiting for a phone/PDA to do what the Note can do. I used to get the phone modules for PDAs long before smartphones were even thought of. Finally, someone has made a smartphone with tablet capabilities. NO, IT'S NOT TOO BIG! This is the screen size we've been waiting for; even full sized websites are easily viewed. And with Ice Cream Sandwich coming.....wow!
I upgraded to the Galaxy Note from an iphone 4s. I've had every iphone they are great, but I am loving my Note. It's easy to text, it's eaiser viewing web pages vs the iphone small screen. I am loving my Galaxy Note size and all. It has made life eaiser I have everything I need right in my hand. Waiting on the Ice Cream software update.
The Galaxy Note, has been a very fun phone/tablet. But its very slow. I'm at the point of returning it. With a 1 gig of ram and a dual core processor you would expect this thing to be veryt fast. This has not been my experience. I hope a software update will solve this.
