bad coffee maker

this is a replacement of the same pot i had previously purchased. Mr Coffee sent me a replacement. after a few months of use, the coffee pot once again stopped working. same exact problem. I am very dissapointed. this is a very poor product

Great stylish design but . . . .

I bought this coffee pot just about month & half ago. Love its design where you can see the water amount in front. that is a big feature to us!!. Coffee has been brewing great until 2 days ago. Went to make coffee as usual and the coffee would NOT brew. Clock would fade out as soon as I turned it on. Frustrated after 30 minutes trying get it to work I ended up boiling water and pouring thru the top so I could have my coffee. I could not believe I was having problems with Mr. Coffee again after newly purchasing this pot. The next day I thought I would give it a try again and what do you know it decided to brew again. But now I am very hesitant about the coffee maker that it will do it again and it is only 1-1/2 months old. I have owned a Mr. Coffee for over 20 yrs and very hesitant about buying another one because I know this is gonna happen again. So now I have to look into purchasing another coffee pot as much as I love Mr. Coffee I think after all these yrs I have to look at another brand. That is why I only gave it 3 stars instead of 5.

Defective

Purchased this coffee maker and returned it as the hole for the coffee to filter down into the carafe was the size of a pin. There was no way for the water to get there so the carafe filled up with steam and remained empty as the water continued to fill up in the basket.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

horrible coffee maker

I got this as a gift for my new place and I've only been here a month and it has stopped working. Woke this morning to find out it wasn't working. No warning, no cleaning light, nothing! Let's just say the husband and I were so upset.

Brews perfectly but carafe and coffee maker leaks

I bought this model on July 2015. From first time use, the glass carafe leaks each time I pour coffee. My wife also had to place a black towel under this small appliance due to leaking and making large stain on counter. I tried getting used to it but my wife had enough. I called the warranty customer service. The rep there was very understanding, polite and friendly. Once I read some number from the plug's prongs, she submitted a warranty replacement to be sent to me to arrive between 6-8 days. I hope the replacement doesn't have these leak issues because I really like the coffee maker.

We apologize for the trouble you've had with your coffee maker. Based on what you've described, we'd like to offer some troubleshooting tips that may help. On the back of your coffee brewer, there is a small rubber tube that goes into the coffee maker. Please carefully remove that rubber piece, by gently pulling it out of the back of the brewer. Once removed, look very carefully at that rubber tube. There's a hole at the end that was inside the brewer. If it is facing up, please replace the tube by carefully pushing it in, making sure that the hole is facing down. This should correct the issue with it leaking. If it is facing down when the leaking is occurring, please give us a call at (800) 672-6333. We will get this resolved for you, and are available Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm Eastern.

Received this beautiful looking coffee maker as a gift December 2015...worked wonderfully for exactly 25 days...then nothing....no brewing....no flashing lights...nothing....hard to look a gift horse in the mouth (old proverb) when being used to an eye opening cup of joe in the morning. Now have to make a trip to the land of tank tops and house slippers for options...B&D or HB ???
