Great Loud sound but background music too loud

Bought the pulse at the airport last weekend. The unit can really play loud but I don't always want it loud. I like background music like seascapes, guitar etc. The units volume won't go low enough. Called support and I am returning it. I am told the flip2 has better low range. I am going to visit local stores maybe demo them.
JBL I would suggest adding software feature to allow better volume control on low side. Maybe an application switch that changes from indoor to outdoor use where you want it louder outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great, too bad it wont connect

We have had this speaker for almost 2 years. it is bright and beautiful and has amazing sound. Unfortunately it has been a constant struggle to get the stupid thing to connect to my windows 10 computer. Many times it will just not connect, after having been previously connected and no amount of troubleshooting helps. its great but in the last 2 years we only get to use it 1 out of every 3 attempts.

Good sounds

The speaker has a good sound, the lighting effects are fun, the charging and micro charge is HORRIBLE, I have had to return twice, the charging port is terribly designed the wire does not lock in place and if you don't get it just right in place it does not charge, you have to fiddle around with the wire, make all these weird alterations to get it to stay in place and charge.. Ugh 3 x no charm. But the speaker is nice.

Really nice, but one problem

I really love this speaker and everything about it but my number one problem, which doesnt seem like a big deal, is that it doesnt inform you well enough when its about to die, it just shuts off. the only way of being able to tell that the battery is low is from a really tiny blinking red light which is impossible to see from a distance, if you even have that side of the speaker facing you. I wish it would let out a beep or some sort of indication before it dies. Also the ability to shut it off from a phone would also be really handy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been to Beyond Innovation Service Center (Philippines)- I was charged with Php 700 pesos for diagnosis fee. only to tell you that they could no longer repair your JBL Pulse since it no longer have any parts available in the market / main manufacturer. Dont ever buy this product it busted out after just 1 year and 7months, even with very careful handling and maintenance.

Love this speaker...but it's now broken

Great sound...
Impress your friends with the light show and color capture camera...
Battery life is pretty good* (*see below)
Needs a skip button and fast forward or rewind button (only has volume control on the device).
It would be nice to have an auto power off if it is not playing.
Charging port broke within 8 months of use. This is a super sad face :(
So now it's a big ole' paper weight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sound is great

Got this for my wife for Xmas. The sound is great, but this definitely doesn't last 12 hours as stated. This only lasts for about two hours and then the battery is dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
