Bought this today like 5 hours ago and I have been playing with it since. Its amazing. The sound quality is superb. the volume level blows my mind and is very very loud. not including what the phone volume can go to. still havent gone to max because i dont wanna blow the speakers haha. The build feels so premium and the metal and rubber feel is great. The lightshow settings and modes literally is why i bought this haha and honestly can not find a single bad thing about these speakers. They are portable and feels good in the hand. you HAVE to try this for yourself people. Its really a great bluetooth speaker! buy one. try it. and if you dont like it you can always get your money back!!!

just got my pulse today, sounded good, looks amazing i wish i could program the leds to do what i actually want as i found some of the effects a little boring, not a massive let down but wish i could have that option

All around a fantastic product

I recently received this speaker as a present and I am greatly pleased. It is very easy to use and extremely worth getting. I sound is great, very very loud and also very fit to your own desire. The led lights are not customizable and the fact that they can go with the beat of the music is not the strongest of the many qualities, but the options available otherwise are more than fantastic. I would without a doubt recommend this to anyone looking for something to this field of music entertainment.

Lights are neat. Sound isn''t all that great. No bass. I feel like I could have gotten a better speaker for less $$ if I had done more shopping around and I was able to listen to other speakers.

Easy Setup But Cannot Sync Multiple Speakers

Really like the product. I liked it so much I bought another so I could play both from one iPad but just found out from customer service JBL does not have this option. JBL please make an app to allow this feature!

Loud, Colorful, Okay sound quality

I bought this about 4 months ago and It has been a very good Bluetooth speaker. For it's size it is very loud and sounds okay. The UE boom does have better overall sound quality and is about the same price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Charger ports fail - every time

Bought this JBL Pulse about 3-4 months ago. We were very impressed with the sound and light display and it's very easy to connect, but after about 6 weeks of use the sound started to fade and just wasn't the quality it initially was. Then, about 2 weeks ago, I tried to charge the device and found it wouldn't take a charge. Upon closer look, we found that the metal in the charger "port" (not sure what else to call it) was a little bent, and so therefore not working properly. We can no longer charge or use this device. Now I'd consider this a fluke, however, this is the 4th bluetooth speaker we have purchased in the last 18 months. All of them have the same defect. after several months of use the charger ports become bent or unusable. The first two brands we purchased were not "high quality" brands, but not cheap either. Same thing happened. the last two devices were JBL and as I've stated same problem. we only charge these things once every week or two. we are not shoving the cords in the ports. and trust me after the first thing, we are handling these things with kid gloves. Ironically we have since found we personally know 3 other people this has happened to. JBL is a great brand name. I expect better. and no refunds or returns accepted for that "issue". So just be weary about any speaker you buy for that reason....unless it has GREAT reviews.
