The Galaxy Note 3 that I purchased operates almost flawlessly. Occasionally, swiping across the screen in an app causes the screen to freeze up and the phone to restart, but that is clearly a software glitch (it never happens on a home screen or home screen page), so (hint, hint, Samsung) that issue will be addressed and remedied. The presence of an SD card slot and removable high-capacity battery make this model the best on the market IMHO. Every phone I've had before had either one or the other, but never both - until now. My phone has a total of 96 GB of storage. The large number of operation modes with quick access to them is the most useful software feature for me. I'm not all that crazy about the stylus and "Air" features. They're "cute" but they don't make the phone "more useful" to me. If you want a portable tablet that doubles as a phone, get this model. You won't be sorry. Get a 10" Galaxy Tab Pro to use at home and carry the Note 3 with you everywhere. Available case and wallet accessories are available to provide protected carrying. I got a wallet flip case. It's perfect for the way I use this unit.
The Galaxy Note 3 is an outstanding product. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I cannot get enough of it. The battery life is the best I've seen in any Android product I've ever owned. The screen is magnificent and the phone feels great in my hand. Yes, it is quite large so you need to be into that kind of thing. I'm not one for small objects, so this suits my needs. When I get a new phone in 2 years, this will be really hard to beat even though the phones will be even better than before. This phone has definitely set the bar high. I will say that i had to wait awhile to get the price a little lower because I wasn't willing to pay a ton of money for it. I'm like that with all products. I'm patient enough to wait for a price drop. Anyway, thanks for a great product, Samsung!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
I have been an iPhone user for at least the last 5 years and swore I would never change. Recently a friend showed me his Samsung Note 3 and I was so amazed in just the first few minutes that I immediately went out and got my own. Not even a close comparison between the two. The Samsung is so awesome! Loving it!
Purchased the Note 3 as an upgrade from the Galaxy S3. Very happy with it. Display is awesome and I particularly like the stylus. Battery life is much better than the S3. My only complaint would be the size, but if you want a clear display that you don't have to squint to see, this is the best smartphone on the market.
