Whether you are a techie, early adopter, power user, or just want the best of the best for any reason, this phone has no peer, no equal and is the gold standard for the genre. I started my own journey with the Samsung Galaxy Epic (w/QWERTY) and have been satisfied with my choice of brand. There was no way to pry the Epic from my hands, until the Note 3. I won't waste time quoting specs, you can read them elsewhere on this site. Just know that it does everything and then some. Top notch components and software allow for customization and personalization to the highest degree. You can throw anything at it and the phone is literally only limited by the user. I have not found one thing to dislike and I spend loads of time each week learning more about how to use the phone to its utmost. Some complain about the size, but I have not found that to be an issue. I was personally looking for a larger screen and phone and it takes only hours to become accustomed to the size. And for those with smaller hands, there is an option to shrink the screen and make it easier to handle. I cannot imagine what can be done to improve upon this device. I am proud to own one and time after time it just outshines the competition and with room to spare. I am a power user and do everything from multi-tasking and working, to games, entertainment, and straight communication, after all it is a phone as well. Well done, Samsung.
I have owned the original Note, the Note II and now the Note III and I have been pleasantly surprised with each addition to the Note series. I just recently came from a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I am so glad I did.(can you tell I love Samsung?) I am amazed at the features. I love the leather look. I like to think it looks sexy. It is blazing fast. Videos look awesome and the sound is fantastic. I am in love with this phone.
I have gone back and forth between that other major smart phone, and those produced in the Galaxy Series. The Note 3 is my sixth Samsung phone and it impresses me daily.
Really cant say enough about the phone..beautiful display and the S-Voice really comes in handy..the only gripe I have is that, being a small handed female..the on and off buttons are a bit high to reach..otherwise, no complaints about it..Buy it! you will fall in love!
I was already in love with my Galaxy Note II and could hardly wait to get my hands on the Note 3. I wasn't disappointed either. These phones are one of the most user friendly phones I've ever used. I don't have to study and do homework for a week to use my phone. In fact, the apps just guide you through set up and use of the features with practical instructions.
This phone eliminates the need for several other devices you may have; such as, a GPS only device (my Galaxy Note 3 leaves my in car GPS device in it's dust at the starting line); don't need an MP3 player anymore; no more cameras to lug around; you can throw away those bulky car DVD players; it is literally my computer away from home - except it does more things! :-)
Thanks for another great product, Samsung!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, all my friends are jealous
I love this phone! The S-pen is a plus with great handwriting recognition, excellent for taking notes on the go. People always want to know what kind of phone it is as they are mesmerized by all of its functions. The battery life is longer than many other smart phones that I have used. If you have small hands this is not the phone for you. However, it is not too large that it will not fit in a pocket. The screen is great, bright and very clear. This phone is a techies dream!
Let me begin by saying that this is probably the last remaining android phones on the market that you can still add memory to. That in my opinion is perhaps the best reason to own this phone. I've owned (and still own) every version of the Galaxy Note series and the only thing that makes this one (or the Note 2) better than its predecessor is the software updates. The Note 3 is thinner than its predecessors and it feels nice when thumbing through the menus, but other than that there is really no reason to buy this one over the other versions e.g. The Note 2. The leatherette backing is going to wear and show signs of age within a matter of months giving you new phone an aged feel too soon, and the cases that protect your investment i.e. the Otterbox series will only hasten the wear on the backing. In summation, if you really need a phone, then this could be a good choice because it can grow with you via the expandable memory, as long as you don't mind the wear and tear that is surely going to accompany the leatherette back cover and the inability to buy a replacement.
Pros: Bright display, easy home media integration
Cons: Poor quality, cheap materials, very slow to update, no real improvement over the other versions, low speaker volume
