Love how the camera works . I new to digital SLR and have used a Canon F1 for most of picture taking till now.. the Rt3 works just as well as the F1 but the need of Battery .. but the F1 needed film and the trade off is I am getting great images every time(as long as aim the camera right and I have the sitting right) Still learning but this great camera to learn from I feel and will tell other that getting to a DSLR that it would be the best to use.
I have always loved ,my Canon F1 it is tank it and I trust that Canon has taken that quality and put that into the DSLR's they make. The T3 is a Great camera for the new beginner or some who getting back into photo taking.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

The physical camera itself feels kind of cheap. The shots are decent, but my previous point-and-shoot cameras seemed to have just as good a shots. The camera seemed awfully slow when trying to take a shot, so if you want a shot of some fast action this camera does not perform well. The flash did not work so well; the picture was either too dark or it washed out my subjects. As far as the features are concerned there did not seem to be as many as I had on my old point-and-shoot such as the firework mode.
Pros: photo quality
Cons: poor flash, missing features
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
