Good starting camera, cheap price

starting with dslr and reflex, got exverything i need in this camera, size is good not too big not too small , only thing who is missing and shoudn't it's the infrared exept that it's a very good starter camera
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

This camera is easy to use and works great for capturing my kids. The lens are easy to change and it is very user friendly.

I've just recently gotten back into photography and all I had was an old point and shoot . A friend of mine came over with her T3. I tried it and was hooked! I went and bought one, and I don't quite know how I got along without it. I'm still a beginner photographer and still learning about manual focus, but with this entry level model all you need is a subject to shoot and you'll be off and running.

Perfect beginners DSLR

I picked the T3 up, bundled with an 18-55 IS and a 75-300 several years ago to replace my aging EOS 350D. It's the camera that assisted me in becoming a professional photographer! It has all the manual settings you could ask for as a beginner, and takes crisp shots, especially for the price range.
Nowadays I work with several 1Ds, 7Ds, and massive EF lenses while I shoot motorsports events, but the plucky little T3 still hangs with the big boys, especially if the user is good at post-processing. I always have it as a back up camera in case the weather gets nasty or the other, bigger cameras act up.
Any entry level Rebel will be perfect for the beginner/intermediate photographer, and can be commercially successful if you put the work in. I highly recommend them if you're enthusiastic about photography and DSLRs but don't know where to start. Everything about the Rebels are easy to learn.

Great Camera For A Rookie

We bought the Rebel T3 1100D kit and added the 75-300MM lens about a week ago. We wanted a decent camera, but also wanted something that would take good photos of our back yard birds. We know next to nothing about DSLR cameras,so we researched before we bought and also went through the manual during the first day while charging the battery. The first day we got photos of a robin in the bird bath and the image is so clear that the water is captured on the inmate as droplets instead of streaks. Most of the technical jargon is a mystery to us, but we're able to pick up on the basics of taking pictures. We think we could have gone with a competitor and been fine, but we're more than pleased with what we ended up with.

I've owned and used an AE-1, FTb, and EF for over 30 years. I finally decided to make the switch to digital about 6 months ago when my equipment got water damaged because of an unknown roof leak in my storage closet.
I bought the T3 because I haven't been actively taking pictures for a while and I did not want to spend a lot of money to get into digital. Now, I'm hooked on photography again. I'm trying to get used to all the features and menus. So, I feel like a novice photographer again, but I'm having a great time. I'm not ready to upgrade yet, but I can see it happening someday and it will be another Canon camera.
The T3 is definitely what I want for now.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, easy to use
Cons: Complicated controls/menu
