Great receiver for the money!!!!

What's great about it: Ease of use. Nice menus.
What's not so great: Nothing.
I purchased this jvc to replace a Kenwood unit, which I only had for a week. The jvc is so much easier to use and has a lot more features. Setup was painless and easy.
It also looks great in my f250. The install wasn't too bad, but I had to search the web to find out where my reverse wire and speed sensor wires were on my truck.
Bluetooth works great on my Itouch and iPhone. Calls are clear and easy to make and receive. Display also shows phones signal strength and battery life.
I ordered the Sirius adapter so that I can listen to sat radio. Wish that the sat radio was built in.
Some other reviewers stated that the album art isn't real crisp and sharp. I would agree with them, but it isn't a big deal to me.
This unit has a lot of features for the price ( 765.00 close out price). You won't be disappointed.

What's great about it: speed of the GPS and all the great features
What's not so great: nothing
This was a replacement Navi system after mine was stolen. I had the Pioneer before and it could not hold a candle to this one. It's faster, easier to see, and can go with me when I leave my vehicle. When it was installed, the installer told me that he had a 1400.00 Kenwood system in his vehicle and would gladly trade his for mine. I'm really thrilled with my purchase.

Was skeptical at first being how this is my first in dash unit. Originally bought it for the Bluetooth and gps. All aspects of this unit is great. Bluetooth is clear, music is well sounded, the navigation could be a little more user friendly but is good. The DVD player works well. The only complaint I would have is that the DVD screen is a little hard to see during the day. But all in all it's a great unit for the price. Professional installation is suggested but not required. I've never installed a unit before and it took me about 4 hrs. Directions are pretty cut and dry. Love it!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great for iPhone owners
What's not so great: Manually entering POI addresses
Can't be beat for the price. The GPS is the most accurate I have seen in a in Dash system. I was going to go with pioneer, but reviews stated how slow and sometimes incomplete the directions were. Thought about Kenwood because of their relationship with Garmin, but their reviews stated EVERYTHING was slow, so I went with this Unit, and could not be happier. You can play movies off your iPhone IF you get an optional cable. Bluetooth Works REALLY well, and the iheartradio app almost eliminates the need for Satelite radio. The Only negative thing that I can say about this unit, is the way you manually put POI for the navigational system could be easier. I highly recommend it.
