What's great about it: price and video
What's not so great: quality and display brightness
This stereo seemed much better than it really was. BLUF: I returned the stereo and paid $60 more for a JVC stereo which I really like!
The Jensen was cheaply made. It also was too dim for daylight, and too bright for the nighttime, neither of which could be adjusted.
This product has... Right size for viewing distance
About me... Budget Conscious, Parent with multiple kids, Tech savvy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: Its not one of the top brands...probably not for a tech savvy guy either
My wife bought a new Nissan Altima, the base model, saving a few thousand but it comes without a stereo. After looking everywhere we settled on a Panasonic model for over $500 that just happened to be out of stock, looked on Bestbuy.com again and ran across this gem....absolutely love it! First it looks really nice when installed- big screen and dvd is HD to my eyes. Second, the price is unreal and the other reviews help sale me on the durability. Lastly, it has just enough basic features to keep amateur tech guys like myself interested and happy. Took 1 1/2 hours to install, scheduled appointment same day with Bestbuy, $100 install. Buy this if you a value hunter and not big on name brands. GOD bless!

What's great about it: Good price
What's not so great: Ease of use. Features don't work as promised.
Love the idea of a touchscreen but the Bluetooth doesn't work. I've read and re-read the instructions to no avail. I can hear loud and clear, but they just keep saying "hello? hello?" due to the fact that they cannot hear me I've switched back to my regular Bluetooth. Additionally, I had "professional" installation. I'm currently battling with their legal department due to a power surge that blew out my alternator, and I have a HUGE gauge in my dashboard from the installer trying to, as he put it "shave the sides down". Please, don't use the installers in Henderson, NV. They're horrible!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: lots of features
What's not so great: no animations preloaded and now wow factor
I have had this product for about two weeks and I have to be completely honest; this multimedia player has given me a lot of mix feelings about it. I'll start with the good points. User friendlyness. For a starter 2din, the interface is very simple. Big bright icons that is easy to identify. Most of the navigation through the menus are stright forward and even if u knew nonething about this unit, you could use it with ease. Features.(This is where I have mix feelings) this unit has every thing Bluetooth, dvd play back SD card holder/ port, ipod hook up usb port (for us android users) back up cam, and navigation. But with all that it still feels...... Like it still comes up short. The reason for this is the lack of animation you can view pics but can't save them and use them for screen savers. Also loading takes a some time compared to other cd players. So going from one command to another takes a few seconds. And now the cons. This multimedia player stated that it was hd but to me it was kinda fuzzy. Not like you can't see the image but compared to Sony, Kenwood or pioneer it jst don't stack when it comes to picture quality. The Bluetooth is a hit or miss for me. I have an HTC EVO 3d and for some reason they don't play well with each other. But with the same breath the manual says that the capabilities of the Bluetooth is determined by the phone. All in all for the price u can't beat this unit

What's great about it: Cordless iPhone play through Bluetooth
What's not so great: Gps attachment
I bought a different cd player and it didn't work for my car. So I bought this one and I really like it. Bluetooth works great for my iPhone. I like that I can play my music through it with out a cord. DVD player picture is pretty good. My only dislike about it is that the navigation attachment is 200 more dollars cause you could just a gps for that price but overall a great buy.

I know nothing about car audio, but Kris from Best Buy Carmel Mountain Ranch Geek Squad went beyond his duties and showed me everything about car audio, and the Jensen came up as an option. He was honest in saying that historically, Jensen has not been known as the top-quality product for car audio, but their latest products show that they can compete well in the Pioneer and Kenwood worlds. In about 1 hour, my Jensen was installed and ready to go. The DVD playback is smooth. The Bluetooth connectivity to my Windows Phone 7 is solid. The touch screen is responsive. It plays mp3s from CD, DVD, USB, SD. I mostly listen to my music on my phone through the bluetooth, so no need for any aux cables or sticking in a thumbdrive. The phone system works great as well. The sound quality to my callers is reported to be clear, even with road noise. I've got my mic positioned just behind the steering wheel. For a budget price touch-screen, I love it. Although I have to admit, as a newbie I didn't really know what to compare it against in the first place! Go and get it, you'll enjoy it.

well I have had mine for around 8 months

the Pioneer had more features, and a slightly higher quality amp
but the Jensen it cheaper (price) and nearly all the same features, you cant add pics to the background or change text color, but you do get a actual volume nob, the JVC had a detachable face and everything else the Pioneer had but the nob was too short and I kept touching the touchscreen when trying to raise or lower the volume, so that was out...
here I am am with the Jensen, and I love it, It has great features and the BT works great...go get it and be happy
