Everything I was looking for in a microwave!

This microwave has exceeded my expectations. It is compact yet holds a dinner size plate, heats food well and you can turn the beeping sounds off (which was the main reason I chose it!). Everything I was looking for at a great price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this microwave because my previous GE microwave of 15 years finally stopped working. Can't complain it was impressive and worked so well till it didn't. I purchased this newest model 2xs. First time..only had it 8 days. I went to pop a microwave bag pop corn..the flap caught on the interior microwave cardboard reflector, started to burn and smoke. I immediately stopped the microwave. Let it cool off..wiped inside the microwave with a sponge and piece of the cardboard reflector broke off. Returned back to store.
Figured..it might have been just a defective microwave..I will try again. Bought the same model yesterday. Set it up..
immediately display showed PF error code. I read the owner's manual online followed steps to reset and set clock.
Next, tried to heat up a bowl of stew.. microwave turns on..rotates plate...ends...food is COLD. No, I did not hit timer or any other feature accidentally. I used the express 4 min feature. It was at PL10. Tried on regular cooking feature
and the same result..COLD!! It will go back tomorrow for another refund.
I liked the style and the size of this microwave..that's my only positive review of it. Disappointed is understatement. I'm over it !! Moving on and looking into a different brand.

Button (30sec) pealing off after 30days

The microwave is a perfect size and works great, however after 30 days the 30sec button has started pealing off/bubbling. I thought maybe I forgot to take the protective layer off because it happened so fast, but unfortunately that was not the case. I choose to go with a GE microwave because the quality of GE appliance is better, this was not the case.

It’s not the most powerful microwave, but for such a small microwave it does a great job. I wanted a small microwave to fit in my pantry, and this is perfect. Fits a full-size plate and works just like any other microwave, it just takes a little longer to heat things up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great compact microwave!

I was looking for a microwave that does not take up too much space- this microwave is such a great value! Is powerful for a smaller size microwave. I love the programmed settings and that it is so easy to use. GE is a trusted brand that makes excellent appliances.
