Worst Battery life ever

After receiving the tab in the mail I fully charged it. Had only the wifi on and screen brightness to auto. battery last no longer than 1 hr just browsing the web.
Cons: battery life short

The ability to take it everywhere is convenient. I now can take a an acutal computer around instead pf my laptop. It has literally taken weight off my shoulders.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, customizable

I really want to love this tablet

This is my second Samsung Note 10.1 tablet. I loved my original so much I bought the 2014 edition. At first it was amazing - and in all but one way it still is. However, it has no battery life worth touting. Normal use (no games, videos, etc) is about 2 hours. In total. On a good day. It I s very disappointing, especially since I paid full price. I cannot recommend the Note 2014 but my Samsung Note phones over the years have been reliable and fun. On I do love Samsung products. I own Samsung appliances, TV, phones, laptops, and tablets.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, great applications, responsive, easy to use
Cons: Did not meet expectations, terrible battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome tablet.

the default launcher is a little laggy, but once i got nova, everything started to work smoothly! I love the stylus
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, stylus!!!
Cons: touchwiz lags

Great for school

I've been using this tablet since sophomore year in high school and I am now moving into my freshman year of college and I will still be using this tablet because a Bluetooth keyboard and a good not taking app like Evernote this device can easily replace a laptop and a computer. It's the perfect size and super portable of coruse, and writing on the screen with the S pen is like writing on paper which is the main reason I chose this over the ipad.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, s pen features, works great with other note taking apps

not what I was hoping for

After two years, I must say this device has not lived up to my expectations.
I had to send it back to the company after it stopped working completely within the first few months... At least it was still under factory warranty.
I was sold on Samsung because of the ability to add storage. My device does not even recognize a Samsung micro card???
Also I've found that the synchronization is challenging at best and obsolete at worst: between our three Samsung devices themselves, nor with the Samsung Link, Samsung Kies (think itunes) app, and basic common applications.
The inability of Samsung to maintain their advertised program: a Samsung Hub promising music, reading, gaming, and media resources with easy accessibility is also a major disappointment.
Overall, I wish I had gone American made...

Still Exploring

I received this tablet from my family as a Mother's Day gift, so I am still exploring all of the features. I have wanted a tablet for some time, so I've done quite a bit of research, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) seemed perfect-so far, so good! The visual (resolution) is terrific, and I love how easy it is to navigate. While I'm still exploring using the S pen, I feel that will also be a great feature. So at this time, I'd have to say, so far, so good!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Best thing to replace paper

Ever since i got this i have everything i need at my fingertips. Works has never been easier since i got my tablet.
If only the battery lasted longer but its all good
