Turbo Tax holds my hand & makes filing a breeze!

I've been using Turbo Tax for a few years now & it has made life so easy at tax time. By now I know what receipts to save & add up for the various categories & instead of spending days on my return, I just spend a few hours - most of that is adding up receipts. The program itself asks you the questions & you just enter your amounts...it does all the math & the reasoning to know how to apply your info to the tax laws.
What's great about it: Asked all the right questions!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Dependable

I've been using Turbo Tax for a very long time. I had used others in between times and I always go back to Turbo Tax because to me it's the best tax software and dependable and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to follow through
What's not so great: no cons

The first section went well, but when I went back to change my donations information, I was hit with a bunch of information about joint property and joint filing. It caused a great bunch of turmoil, and I am concerned now that my return may be affected by my soon to be ex-husband.
What's great about it: Fairly fast, and I can do it in my pajamas
What's not so great: Questions about married filing jointly with a spouse who doesn't live here.

I would have like to "reload" the previous years tax file. Had a small change in the file and couldn't reload it. Had to start the 2013 over and reload the change.
What's great about it: Simplifies standard items
What's not so great: A little cumbersome

My retirement account rolled over to IRA, repeated questions about tax deductibility made it confusing
What's great about it: Good questions that mostly lead to answers

This is my sixth year using Turbo Tax and I have never had a problem with the IRS. I only wish the the state efiling cost was included in the charge.
What's great about it: Great manuever for anyone whose not a CPA
What's not so great: For the amount you pay, the state should be free.

I have used Turbo Tax many years and very happy with it.
2013 Deluxe Turbo Tax, I had a difficult time especially with 1099-B filing. Perhaps, 2013 was the first time, I had to file 1099-B.
