2013 I Tax Review

When the software asks questions about 1099Rs, it does not provide enough info to identify which 1099R it is asking about. Should include amount in box 1a as well as full name of provider.
What's great about it: Step-by-step process is easy to understand and brings up things I would not have thought of
What's not so great: see below

TurboTax is a great tool!

I really do like how simple and quick it is to use TurboTax to file returns. It is also very convenient.
What's great about it: Super simple, walks you through everything.
What's not so great: Tax stuff is still confusing to me...

We have used TurboTax for years and really enjoy the step by step guides to help us get out maximum refund.

Upset with TT 2012

I've been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for many, many years. The 2012 version would not let me print directly to my printer, instead making me print to a pdf file. That would be fine if my Adobe Reader was working correctly, but it was not.
Also the old tax topics search would let me look for special circumstances and tell me what IRS Publication I could reference for answers. Clicking the help button now just takes me to some user posting that does not meet my needs.
What's great about it: Thorogh as always
What's not so great: Can't print directly to printer & harder to find help

I have used Turbo Tax for eight years but this year my taxes could not be efiled for some PIN problem which I don't think Turbo Tax explained well enough. I no longer feel comfortable using Turbo Tax and will use a professional next year.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Help icon is not helpful
