Best Way To File Taxes Ever

I have used Turbo Tax (TT) for several years now. TT makes doing the onerous chore of taxes - whether I owe or get a refund - much easier to deal with. TT is well worth the cost! Being able to import info from last year's taxes is awesome. The interface is friendly, the questions asked are easy to understand and the "additional information" windows answer all my questions about providing the correct information.
What's great about it: Neat, Easy, No Stress

Excellent and Easy

Great product. the only improvement I could suggest is to reduce the number of sales pitches you have to click through to file. Buy the state tax (I am in Florida and the software just told me I don't have to buy it a couple of screens before), buy the audit defense, buy, buy, buy...
What's great about it: Walks you through everything
What's not so great: Need to update due to unavailability of forms

This program made it easy to do my own taxes. I really don't like doing taxes at all so this made it less painful.

Tubo Tax 2013

Overall, excellent resource for filing taxes, maximizing return,and access to the latest IRS information. I have used Turbo Tax for 14 years, and will continue to use it. Good value for most tax filings.
Negative new feature - require user to perform a review of Turbo Tax before accepting E-File returns. This should be optional. My time is too valuable to complete surveys of this nature.
After doing the survey, further comment. This poorly designed survey and unnecessary.
What's great about it: Easy Guides most helpful, Access to forms and instructions most helpful
What's not so great: Limited number of financial institutions to import information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 Tax season

Been using turbotax for over ten years with great satisfaction. Easy and quick to enter data, provides confidence there are no math errors. Helps avoid entering data wrong.
What's great about it: Easy to transfer data from previous years, good double checking
What's not so great: Sometimes provides entries I don't remember making and can't fix.

Record time required

The questions pertaining to taxes withheld from Teachers' salaries in the 1980's, and IRA's in the 1980's could not be accurately answered because those records are not available. The questions regarding Foreign Tax credits were too difficult to understand so I just guessed. I had to go by the statement provided by my financial planner.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to understand and fill
What's not so great: If records are missing or not available, some questions require guessing because you cannot leave them blank.

Easy, step by step........have used T/T for the past several years and so far am very pleased..............Thanks for keeping up with the "government" to keep us up to date...........
