BEST OF THE BEST

As I mentioned above turbotax is a great program. I have used turbotax for many years that I find it the best tool for completing my taxes. I have shared it with other family members and friends and they to are turbo tax users forever.
What's great about it: Your help hints is great.
What's not so great: I have used turbo tax for many years is hard find anything negative.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Excellent guided questioning, solid app performance
What's not so great: Clicking back during EasyStep sometimes creates form errors

Turbotax 2013 MAC

In general a good product. I have used Turbotax for many years. Three items to be improved:
1. AMT is handled poorly. Very labor intensive to determine if a state refund from previous year is taxable or not.
2. State (MA) health insurance information needs to be entered twice (once for myself and once for spouse) even though we are on same insurance.
3. The MAC version doesn't remember where in interview you left off. The previously entered data is there, but have to manually jump to correct page.

Pretty Satisfied

For my case (rather simple 1040 - married w/ kids) it was great. Iv'e been using turbotax for 6 years.
For my NYS return, there were too many forms not supported. Needed to research to see if various credits or taxes applied to me. This is a function of NYS (can't say how it compares to other states). Turbotax also stated that you wouldn't be able to e-file with turbotax if you needed to file some of these additional forms. Would be disappointing to find out after that fact that you still have to finish your tax filing and file manually.
What's great about it: Simple and quick
What's not so great: For NYS, too many forms not supported.
Pros: I had a baby
