Every year a breeze

From the days of DOS, I've ever had a problem with Turbo Tax. I prefer using the forms entry method as it provides direct hands-on control (no middle man).
What's great about it: Choice of interview or forms entry method

Stuck with TurboTax 8 years

I have used TurboTax for 8 years without a problem. I never had to use your helpful advisors because the software answered all my questions and concerns.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Always up-to-date.
What's not so great: None I can think of.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Oregon Tax Calculations

Every year I find it very difficult calculating the Oregon Tax regarding the Federal Retirement Annuity. Your instructions are confusing regarding what needs to go in the DISTRIBUTION section.
This area has to be improved to be more understandable.
Also, when going through the pages of the forms, please make it easier to go back when you need to make corrections.

TurboTax is a great tool to get your taxes does accurately, quickly, with the maximum refund possible. I love the guided question format and the explanations of everything are right at your fingertips.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions that are guided by simple quesitons, all topics are covered to gain maximum refund, quick
What's not so great: you have to pay for the state eFile

No taxes due and no refund!

Kept having to repeatedly scroll down to continue even though I had never had many of the income and deduction items in the past. Can it check previous return and omit to streamline completing return?

My refund was a breeze!

I purchased H&R Block software but had several issues with the questions and didn't feel confident filing my return. So I purchased TurboTax, so glad I did. The software was very easy to use and lots of questions which made we feel I was getting all the possible deductions & filing accurately. Great program, will purchase next year.
What's great about it: asked all the questions, very easy to use
